Photos from the Eyeball End

A brand new photography exhibition by Ali MC.

In 2015, Ali MC's 'punk rock travel book' The Eyeball End was published, detailing his travels through forgotten parts of the globe such as Rwanda, Burundi, Lebanon, Ethiopia and Burma.

Shot on the Road: Photos From The Eyeball End is a series of photographs that Ali MC took while on those travels.

Armed with only a small point-and-shoot 35mm film camera, Ali MC captured the brutality, the hope and the beauty of the world around us.

Shot on the Road: Photos from The Eyeball End is an intimate, yet confronting view of the road most people never dare travel.

The devastation of war in Lebanon; the grim sadness of genocide in Rwanda; militant monks in Burma; the beauty of a warm sunrise in Cambodia.

Shot on the Road: Photos from The Eyeball End will be exhibiting at the Fitzroy Library from April 19 - June 29.

Opening featuring Ali MC alongside guest spoken word artists Abe Nouk, Manisha Anjali and Jack Sheppard.

May 5 at the Fitzroy Library (2-4pm, 128 Moor St, Fitzroy)
